Encounter 2024 Indemnity

I hereby agree and give permission that my child may attend the above program. Please note the following important points: School rules apply on Encounter, - no drugs, alcohol, smoking or bullying will be tolerated. These offenses will be dealt with together with parents and the school. Any repairs necessary as a result of damages to rooms or on the Encounter site will be at the expense of the room in question (unless a student comes forward) and their parents will be invoiced accordingly. The Dije will not be held responsible for any items of value going missing on Encounter. This includes but is not limited to: Cellphones, laptops, Ipads and various other electronic devices. The Dije will not be held responsible for any money that goes missing. We encourage you to not send any cash on Encounter. There will be other methods of payment available. I hereby indemnify the Division of Informal Jewish Education, the advisors (leaders) in charge of the event, the South African Board of Jewish Education and any of its affiliated and/or constituent bodies and directorates and/or any representative, employee, servant or agent of any of the foregoing bodies or persons (hereinafter referred to as the organisers) against any claim whatsoever and howsoever arising which may be made against them or any of them by any person an d/or against any liability which may be incurred by and/or any damage which may be suffered by them or any of them, arising directly or indirectly out of any act or omission of any nature whatsoever, whether negligent or otherwise (including gross negligence), on the part of the applicant.
