About

At King David High School Victory Park, we believe that achievement is not solely defined by the attainment of high marks. We also measure achievement by the emotional, social and spiritual well-being of our students. Being part of our close-knit, Jewish student community, instils our young people with a sense of identity, a feeling of belonging, and above all a powerful sense of self-worth.

In our continuous pursuit of excellence in Hebrew and Judaic studies, and our commitment to upholding Jewish traditions and values, we strive to ensure that our students are infused with a pride in their heritage that encourages them to forge an indestructible connection to Jewish communal causes and the State of Israel.

The progressive educational process, which we deliver, is broad and innovative. It offers a wide range of subject choices, including music, art, dance and drama and provides a balance of Judaic education and secular instruction that makes it possible for our students to deal with a rapidly changing world.

We are mindful of the need to develop 21st Century Teaching and Learning Skills with the students. The obvious four “Cs” are key to our programme namely, Communication, Collaboration. Creative Thinking and Critical Thinking. We also go beyond these areas to look at the “soft skills” which go towards making our students the unique individuals that they are.

Our dedicated and highly qualified staff members represent our human intellectual capital. Their knowledge, commitment to each child and expertise result in our consecutive, year-after-year 100% pass rate and leading Grade 12 results in the IEB Matriculation Exams.

Message from the Principal

“As the Head of King David High School Victory Park, I am honoured to be leading an incredible community school, with amazingly talented students and dynamic and dedicated teachers. We strive to produce academic excellence, while fostering the ability of every young person to find and fulfil his or her full potential. We nurture a positive Jewish identity for our students, built on our ancient traditions and heritage, and instil Jewish values in all that we do. Our smaller, close-knit school provides many opportunities in the classroom, in the cultural sphere and on the sports field, and creates a unique, caring family environment. We produce young people who can think, question and find their own voice, in an atmosphere or respect and tolerance. We prepare the students of today for the world of tomorrow, built on the traditions and experiences of many years.”
