Admissions Process
Please make an enquiry before applying to our schools as we require that new families meet with the Head of School.
Please apply online to complete an application if you are applying for a sibling, or a child entering Grade 1 or Grade 8.

What You Will Need When Applying
- Birth Certificate of Child (Preferably Unabridged)
- Copy of Father/Guardian ID/Passport
- Copy of Mother/Guardian ID/Passport
- Copy of the Front and Back of Your Medical Aid Card
- Proof of Residence
- Ketubah or Proof of Jewishness
- Financial Clearance / Fees Statement if you are transferring from another school
- Joining Fee: Proof of Payment
- Birth Certificate of Child (Preferably Unabridged)
- Copy of the Front and Back of Your Medical Aid Card
- Joining Fee: Proof of Payment for Grade 1 applications where applicable

Subsidy Program
King David is more than a school. It is a community where families become part of a lifelong network that extends well beyond the classroom or the years spent at school. This strong sense of community helps ensure that future generations of Jewish children continue to benefit from a King David education.
The South African Board of Jewish Education (SABJE) is committed to making a Jewish education accessible to all Jewish children. In support of this commitment, and with the help of the King David Schools’ Foundation and it’s alumni, financial assistance is available to Jewish families who are experiencing genuine financial difficulty and are unable to afford the full school fees.
Subsidy applications open annually from 15 July to 15 October. Parents wishing to apply will be required to complete an application form and submit the required financial information and supporting documentation for assessment.
